The River runs endlessly for seven miles across Heimsveldi, before twisting sharply to the left, and disappearing into unchartered territories. Its water is clear and fresh, kept cool by the ceiling of branches that cover most of the river, their trees having marked their places for many centuries with trunks bigger than most equines. Small silver fish can often be seen flitting about beneath the water, as can the occasional salmon, and small green weeds mark the deeper areas, warning weaker swimmers away. The grass that lines the river is lush and green; the Grýta River holds many purposes for the equines.
This mountain range runs the full length of the northen side of the continent. Made up of twenty seven mountains, their height varies significantly, from the towering Freohr Summit, to the slightly less terrifying Thrysta Crescent, which appears very much like an enlarged hill. Small, deformed trees grow nearly all the way along the Spine, and water can be found in the form of small clearwater ponds, although it is never certain that an equine will come across such a pool when crossing the mountains. Many of the plants that grow here are unique to the area, and thus little is known about the range, apart from the fact that it is commonly mentioned in equine lore.
Named for the seemingly endless stretch of red soil it consists of, the Plains appear barren, devoid of all life. Small clumps of rough, bitter grass can be found dotted around the area, but there are few other distractions from the flame-coloured earth. Desert-like in temperature, few can survive out here for longer than a day, as there is no visible water source, and little food. The skull of an unusually large Antenus can be found towards the center of the plains, perhaps to ward off those who would wander further into the drought-ridded land.
This frozen wasteland is one of eerie beauty, for in early morning the light of the sun reflects off of the snow, giving it a stunning blue tinge that makes it entrancing to look at. An ice river cuts through the snow like a scar, weaving endlessly through the land, and making it difficult for an equine to travel across the icy realm. Odd mounds of snow can be found at intervals across the wasteland, each with a small snow cave dug into the side of them, but these are rarely used for fear of the cave collapsing. The only animals that can be found here regularly are birds, leaving their tiny footprints in the ice as they search for life in the snow beneath their feet.
